Mets vs Philadelphia Game 3

The Mets will send John Maine to the mound tonight for the final game of the series against the Phillies. Maine is 6-3 with a 2.81 ERA this year. He faced the Phillies back on April 9th, pitching 4.2 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 earned runs. He struck out 4 and walked 6. In his last start, on June 1st, he lost to the D'Backs but only gave up 2 earned runs in 6 innings of work.
The starting pitching in this series has been excellent but when you only score 2 runs a game, it's hard to win.
The Phillies are sending their young lefty, Cole Hamels, who has been lights out lately. Not the best prescription for cold bats.
With the injury to Chavez, I would expect Randolph to play Ben Johnson and Carlos Gomez. My guess is that Easley will be back in the lineup at second if he's feeling up to it.
