Pretty simple: The Mets ran into a tough pitcher in Brandon Webb. John Maine gave up only 2 ER in 6 innings but the Mets' bats went cold and they could only muster one run.
Tomorrow it's Livan Hernandez against Jorge Sosa. Hopefully some of the regulars will be back in the lineup.
